Nestled along the winding shores of the Nottawasaga River, you’ll cherish the peacefulness and serenity in our bed & breakfast, from within the world’s longest fresh water beach, Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada…Serenity in the Beach!

Wasaga’s incredible stretch of 14km of white sandy beach and warm shallow waters is so pristine and clear, it has been awarded the “Blue Flag eco-certification”! Not only is Wasaga Beach renown for great swimming and summer activities, but the spring and fall is such a perfect time to enjoy wonderful peaceful “beach walks” and beautiful colours of nature, sunsets as well as fantastic snowmobile and cross country trails during the winter.

Our comfortable, air conditioned B&B is within walking distance to the unique Wasaga Sand Dunes and scenic riverside trails, enjoyed not only by hikers and cyclists, but also snowmobile and cross country skiing enthusiasts. Skiing on some of the greatest hills in Ontario is within only a half an hour away. If golfing is your game, we have three great 18 hole courses right in Wasaga Beach and others just a short drive away! Enjoy the theatre and stage plays? We have wonderful theatre productions all around us in Southern Georgian Bay.

During your stay with us at Serenity in the Beach, there are so many things you can enjoy or just relax into…lounging on our verandah overlooking beautiful gardens and mature trees; enjoy the wonders of the Nottawasaga River and it’s wildlife, while relaxing on the riverview deck; or get a little closer to nature while enjoying a ride in our paddleboat or rowboat, with our compliments. And don’t forget “the breakfasts” which you can enjoy in our diningroom or on the riverview deck! Wonderfully prepared by your host Denise, or self catered breakfasts that you can enjoy at your own time in a leisurely manner. Although we have some wonderful restaurants in the area, if you just don’t feel like going out to eat dinner every night, why don’t you continue to enjoy the ambiance right here? Use our BBQ to prepare fabulous AvivaFoods steaks, chicken, or salmon, or microwave one of our delicious, preservative free, AvivaFoods entrées. Selections and pricing available upon request.

We have three comfortable, bedrooms for you to choose from, each with ceiling fans and a beautiful view of the river. Wonderful new beds with comfortable mattresses and cozy comforters are just waiting for you! Our Amethyst room boasts a magnificent bay window, queen size bed, private bathroom with heat lamps, satellite TV, and lazyboy. Sapphire room guests enjoy the ambiance of a fireplace, queen size bed, walkout to riverside deck, shared bathroom, TV with DVD, and lazyboy. And our cozy Opal room, has twin beds, shared bathroom and a walkout to the riverside deck. Or, book Opal and Sapphire together, for a private suite, suitable for 4 or 5 guests.

Enjoy the contemporary décor of our bright, open and spacious, commons room, featuring a fabulous view of the river. Sink into our oversized couches while enjoying a quiet moment by the fireplace or a bit of TV. We have a computer for your use if you need to keep in touch with the world outside, and a selection of books and games for your leisure. Need a little extra help to “unwind” during your stay with us? Relax in our outdoor hot tub while overlooking the river, or, for something very special, experience the warmth and benefits of far infrared, in our sauna!

Sorry, no pets allowed, but you can definitely relax with our host pets,…our very friendly labs, Opal and Sapphire. Please inquire about our policy for children. Also we request you respect our no smoking indoors policy.
